Scalable Text Size

How to increase text size, in Internet Explorer

The site has been designed with scalable font sizes. This means that if you find any text difficult to read, you can make it bigger, and even bigger still, by choosing the appropriate menu option in your web browser.

In Internet Explorer, for example, this is achieved by choosing the View > Text Size > Larger menu option, as shown in the diagram on the right.

Similar functions exist in other browsers, such as Firefox and Opera.

Accessibility Standards

We have also designed our site to comply with the following accessibility standards based on the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines, widely regarded as the international standard for web accessibility.

Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional Valid CSS Level Double-A conformance icon, W3C-WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0
