Event - Christmas Week

December 2012

Our Christmas Week celebrations began on Friday 14th December with our Christmas Fair. We raised £915 for our school which was fantastic.

On Monday 17th December we had a Christmas sing-along in our new church. Mr Hanrahan and Mr Dargue played their guitars as we sang songs like Jingle Bells and Winter Wonderland.

On Wednesday 19th December Santa visited us and the children went to see him in his grotto. After that we all enjoyed our Christmas dinner – staff and parents enjoyed it too.

Each class took part in our Christmas display competition, the standard of entries was high but the winning one was ‘Christmas Around the World’ by Class 3.

Mr Dargue, Mr Hanrahan and Mr Whitehouse led the singing at our Christmas sing-along in our new church.

The choir showed us how to sign to ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’

The children enjoyed visiting Santa’s Grotto.

We all loved Christmas dinner, especially the prizes in the crackers.

We could buy lots of different Christmas activity bags at the Christmas Fair.

The children in Class 1 made cards to sell at the Christmas Fair.

The winning display in our competition was by Class 3.
